“Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” – Stephen Hawking
We shall look at how Scrum can be used for tasks where the principles of
the agile manifesto can be used to gain efficiencies and have all the
stakeholders benefit from the benefits of the agile way of working. Using
Scrum or Agile frameworks to the T will not work in most cases and in fact
shall be an anti-pattern if not used judiciously and in the right proportion
along with other industry best practices
You will be able to use scrum / Kanban and a mix of lean principles to
ensure that you do the work with the highest levels of efficiency and elicit
rapid feedback from your stakeholders. The concept of shipping and a bias
for action as well as understanding what is the minimum viable increment
that can be delivered shall be quite useful to keep up the release cadence.
Having this mindset helps people reduce waste in the system and think
and develop just enough architectures. This is a very useful skill for
development teams, architects, leads, analysts as you move along in the
process of churning software as the world is embracing agility as a way for
higher efficiencies. Agile now is not only for producing efficient software it
has become a way of life as well.
Course Highlights: A case study will be running throughout the course to
co relate the concepts with real life examples, agile games, interspersed
with puzzles, crosswords and quizzes apart from time boxed activity
sessions to reiterate the learning during the sessions and make way for an
enhanced learning experience.
